Work Package 3: Qubit/photon interfaces [Physics/Maths/Industry]

A common experimental proposal to store information on a qubit register, to retrieve it, and transfer it is to make use of photons. The requires the development of efficient qubit/photon interfaces, and raises modelling issues in order to determine the conditions for accurate transfer of information through qubit/photon interface. Below are some examples of topics to investigate within a PhD work.
The PhD project should be preferentially co-supervised by a mathematician and a physicist, or coached by an industrial partner
